It seems that everything that's been going on in my life now is being planned out very nicely.

I would have gotten the CPF call centre job with Ho Ying if I hadn't gone to Bangkok for 4 days. I remembered feeling very pissed and not looking forward to the shopping trip (like wth? who doesn't look forward to BKK shopping trips?!) because I missed a really good opportunity to work with a friend.... And then also because of this Bangkok trip I couldn't get that SGH job that Lydia recommended to me because they got someone to fill the vacancy before I came back; and thus I missed another opportunity to work with a friend. :(
Was starting to give up on job searching and just slack the rest of my holidays away; however then right after meeting up with Lydia at PS and telling her how much I'd like to work in a hospital, CGH called me and asked me down for an interview the very next day. -.- How coincidental.... Lydia your words very powerful eh (Chris Sligh was also voted off American Idol yesterday, but anyway that's not the point). And then at the interview, there was also another girl trying out for the same job. I was 5 minutes late for the interview, didn't email them the resume form when I should have... but just because I told them I knew Excel (which I don't really know..) the boss decided to hire me instead of the other girl. -.-
Ok.. so then I got the CGH job and it became one of the best experiences I ever had. I feel so very fortunate to have such a nice first job experience, with wonderful colleagues and bosses, and I still go back to visit them from time to time because it's just SO near my house. (: And Ainah even personally made a bracelet and pair of earrings for me! Gosh. And the most surprising part is, now I'm tutoring their HR secretary's daughter AMaths and English. LOL. So I got a tuition job without approaching anyone or agency. And now I also have a dinner partner before I go for Jap classes at eastpoint every Tuesday, hahaha.
SO, life is pretty good now without a job. At least I'm earning some money with the tuition hmm. AND Wendy, Lydia and I are going to KL/Sunway Lagoon 11-13 April! NOW that's something to look forward, a holiday out of Singapore on our own! Hehh. Another thing to look forward would be the trip to USA/Canada when I visit my bro there woohoo. Going to spend 52 days there! Gosh I'm going to miss Singapore like hell, esp the food. Haha and yess friends as welll sigh. But I'm excited to get outta Singapore, to escape reality... Anyway Swissotel's 70th floor Equinox bar is LOVE. Wonderful ambience, great music and service, amazing night view of Singapore from 70 storeys..... But abit expensive, ha. Wendy and Lyd I will bring u guys there one day! You guys will love it. Went there with Alethea and Clarissa wednesday night. Dedicated songs and the singer and pianist perform them live.. songs like Love Me by Colin Raye, All Out Of Love by Air Supply, That's Why You Go Away by MLTR. (: So romantic larh. Damn melancholic too.
